Bruce D. Stevenson 

Bruce D. Stevenson is a member of Alcohol Beverage Consultants of Ohio LLC (ABC Ohio).  Mr. Stevenson is former Superintendent of the Ohio Division of Liquor Control and served 25 years with the Division in a variety of administrative roles gaining extensive knowledge and valuable experience regarding the regulation of Ohio’s liquor industry. 

    

As Superintendent, Mr. Stevenson was a member of the Board of Directors for the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association.  Prior to his appointment as Superintendent, Mr. Stevenson served 13 years as Deputy Superintendent of the Division’s Licensing Section, responsible for the issuance and renewal of the state’s 23,000 alcohol manufacturers, wholesale distributors and licensed retail permit holders.  Other positions held by Mr. Stevenson with the Division include Chief of the Licensing Division and Chief of the Beer and Wine Division.  In 2016, Mr. Stevenson was recognized by the Ohio Senate for his dedicated service to the state and to the alcohol beverage industry.

Gary E. Jones 

 

Gary E. Jones is a member of Alcohol Beverage Consultants of Ohio LLC (ABC Ohio).  Mr. Jones served with the Ohio Division of Liquor Control for more than 36 years in various capacities gaining extensive knowledge and valuable experience in the regulation of Ohio’s alcohol beverage industry.  

 

Mr. Jones is former Chief of Investigations and Compliance for the Division, serving in that capacity for 15 years.  His duties included the administration of the Beer and Wine Section as well, responsible for registering all alcohol manufacturers, suppliers, solicitors and all beer, wine or mixed beverage products.  Mr. Jones led the Investigative Services Section responsible for all field operations involving licensing and compliance of the state’s 23,000 alcohol manufacturers, wholesale distributors and licensed retail permit holders. He oversaw all criminal history background checks for individuals required to be disclosed for licensing and administered the documenting of all violations of licensed permit holders. 

 

Utilizing his experience as a former Investigator in the Enforcement Division, Mr. Jones served as the Division’s liaison to law enforcement agencies.  In that capacity, he conducted compliance training and public speaking sessions for both law enforcement and industry members.  Mr. Jones represented the Division before many organizations and at numerous conferences and seminars, including the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association.
